Thursday 21st August:

  • thesmartclub meeting and gathering point Salzburg
  • Accommodation in Salzburg, B&B basis - we intend using the Kohlpeter Hotel (as used in 2007)

Friday 22nd August:

  • Drive to Zell am See
  • Accreditation and distribution of the welcome packages
  • (smart of Austria) Tuner 'Happy Hour'
  • (smart of Austria) Test drive and circuit
  • (smart of Austria) Opening celebration with design contest
  • (smart of Austria) DJ Night
  • Accommodation in Kaprun or Zell am See, B&B basis

Saturday 23rd August:

  • (smart of Austria) smart on boat
  • (smart of Austria) Tuner 'Happy Hour'
  • (smart of Austria) smart procession
  • (smart of Austria) 10-years-birthday party with live act
  • Accommodation in Kaprun or Zell am See, B&B basis

Sunday 24th August:

  • (smart of Austria) Hair of the dog (hangover cure!)
  • (smart of Austria) Special offers at Exhibitors' Row
  • (smart of Austria) Distribution of goody bags
  • Return to Salzburg
  • Accommodation in Salzburg, B&B basis - we intend using the Star Inn (as used in 2007)

Monday 25th August:

  • Dispersal and return to UK as relevant

 
How to proceed
As with 2007, thesmartclub will therefore be coordinating your accommodation from Thursday 21st August through to departure on Monday 25th August inclusive. 

It is likely that thesmartclub attendees will be a mixture of driving to/from the UK plus other participants who are either already in Europe or who are flying to Munich or Salzburg and hiring a smart car upon arrival.

Irrespective, we will be providing you with a 'package' cost that will comprise 4 nights B&B accommodation, local information for Salzburg plus pre-registration for you on behalf of thesmartclub for smart of Austria's events at Zell am See on Friday evening through to Sunday lunchtime. 

If you are driving all the way from the UK to Salzburg and back, we will provide you with suggestions and recommendation but would stress that full support and the package itself commences Thursday 21st August in Salzburg and concludes Monday morning (25th August) in Salzburg.
